Each kit includes raw, unfinished or pre-finished solid wood battens and a backing acoustic felt sheet that you cut to size. The felt provides an NRC of up to 0.95, while the wood slats can be spaced and arranged according to your own pattern—vertical, horizontal, herringbone, or staggered. You can cut the slats to length on a miter saw and trim the felt with scissors, giving you complete creative freedom over the final look and coverage. The slats are available in oak, walnut, and ash, with optional stain and finish. The backing felt is self-adhesive or can be mechanically fixed, and the slats are simply glued or screwed onto it. This system empowers you to achieve a high-end wood acoustic feature without specialist labor, at a fraction of the cost of pre-assembled panels.

You first apply the acoustic felt to the wall, which acts as the continuous sound absorber. Then you attach the wood slats onto the felt at your chosen spacing. Sound waves pass through the gaps between the slats and are absorbed by the exposed felt. The slats themselves can also provide a degree of diffusion and a solid wood aesthetic. This modular approach means every installation is uniquely tailored.

UV Printing Patterned Felt Sheets are made from 100% polyester fiber, does not contain any chemical binders including formaldehyde.

We use UV digital printer to print wood grain patterns on our acoustic panels. It looks like wood but the material is sustainable and recycled.
