E0 Level PET Vertically Acoustic Suspended Acoustic Baffles 9mm Thickness
Product Overview
Bring the beauty of wood to curved walls, arches, and cylindrical columns with our flexible wood acoustic panels. A real wood veneer is precision-kerfed or laminated onto a flexible acoustic backing, allowing the panel to conform to radii as tight as 15 cm. The surface displays continuous, unbroken wood grain, while the backing delivers an NRC of up to 0.85. You can cut the panels to any silhouette to wrap columns entirely or cover undulating wall sections seamlessly. The kerf pattern is engineered to disappear when the panel is bent, leaving only smooth wood visible. Available in standard veneer species or custom-stained finishes, these panels make curved acoustic design achievable without resorting to faux wood or segmented flat facets. Mount them with contact adhesive or a track system for flawless results.
Solution
Curved architectural features are notoriously difficult to treat acoustically without losing the wood aesthetic. Straight panels must be segmented, creating ugly facets. Our bendable panels solve this by offering a continuous-veneer, sound-absorbing product that flexes to follow any curve, providing a seamless wood finish on curved walls and columns with full acoustic performance.
Application
Curved hotel reception desks, cylindrical lobby columns, arched cinema and theater walls, domed ceiling coves, curved corridor walls in high-end residential projects, retail store rounded fitting room pods, and acoustic wrapping of circular structural pillars.
How It Works
The wood veneer is supported by a flexible core that bends without cracking. The acoustic fleece backing stretches and compresses to follow the curve, maintaining its porous structure. Sound passes through micro-gaps or perforations in the veneer and is absorbed by the fleece. Because the panel can be trimmed to the exact column height and circumference, the entire curved surface becomes acoustically active.
Specify wood acoustics with confidence using our fire-rated wood veneer panels. The surface is genuine wood that has been treated with a fire-retardant process or laminated to a non-combustible acoustic substrate, achieving Class A or B1 fire ratings while retaining the natural grain and feel of real timber. These panels deliver an NRC of up to 0.85 and can be manufactured to any required size or shape—custom lengths, widths, and intricate cutouts. The acoustic backing is composed of mineral fiber or a high-density polyester with inherent flame resistance. The wood face is available in standard species and finishes, and can be trimmed on site with standard carbide-tipped tools without exposing flammable core materials. Use them where building codes demand high fire performance without sacrificing the warmth of wood.
Commercial interiors often prohibit real wood wall coverings due to fire regulations, forcing designers to use melamine or plastic imitations. Our fire-rated panels solve this by providing genuine wood veneer on a compliant acoustic core, achieving the necessary fire certification while delivering real wood aesthetics and sound absorption.
Hotel guest room corridors, theater and cinema wall cladding, airport lounge feature walls, hospital waiting areas, office building lobby walls, restaurant escape route lining, and educational institution common spaces. Anywhere public safety codes require tested fire performance.
The wood veneer is impregnated with fire-retardant salts or bonded to a mineral/glass-fiber acoustic board that meets ASTM E84 or EN 13501-1. Sound passes through micro-perforations or gaps in the veneer into the substrate, where absorption occurs. The fire treatment does not block acoustic pores. The panel’s custom cuttability ensures that sprinklers, alarms, and exit signs are perfectly integrated.
Ceiling sound baffles provide absorption to a space in need of sound clarity and speech intelligibility. Absorption lessens the echo and reverberation within the room it is installed within.
Ceiling treatments are a great place to start! Reverberation can often give the impression that there is an obnoxious noise in the background. This is mostly caused by the overall volume in the room; therefore, it can lead to ear fatigue and lower concentration for the listener.
Regardless of the space, adding sound absorption to your room will make a noticeable difference instantly.
