You can cut the panels to size with a sharp blade, sealing the cut edge with a simple household sealant if needed. The material is mildew-proof and will not swell or delaminate in humid conditions. How It Works

The impermeable top layer is micro-etched or formulated to be acoustically transparent enough to allow sound to pass into the underlying PET core, where air friction dissipates the energy. Water beads on the sealed surface and cannot penetrate. The panel’s overall thickness compensates for any slight acoustic impedance introduced by the coating, preserving a practical NRC for speech reduction.
